Peter Gill

I learnt bridge from my mother as a teenager. My preferred partner is Sartaj Hans, ahead of  Liz Sylvester. My favourite convention is Keller, named after Helen Keller – it’s a recommended approach to post mortems. Although I like to play as few conventions as possible because I like winning, with Sartaj. I play his Little Meck (strong club) system which has some complexity but not too much. After each game, I like to look through the hands to see what I could have done better.
