Phil Markey began playing Bridge at about age 10. He played Bridge and Poker at university and also regularly at the South Australian Bridge Assocation clubrooms. He recalls his “regular rubber game with great South Australian players, Zoly Nagy and George Smolanko in the early 90’s” as being “the time when my game got good”.
